ANC 5C map, from DC Board Of Elections, shows Single Member District (SMD) boundaries. In some parts of the city, SMDs have tidy boundaries. In Eckington, no rhyme or reason is apparent. Unfortunately, only a few of the SMDs for ANC 5C are labelled.
ANC 5C SMD representatives from dc.gov. Eckington contains no entire SMD, but portions of four different ones lie within our borders. They are: SMD 5C02, represented by Sylvia Pinkney; SMD 5C03, represented by Stuart Davenport; SMD 5C05, represented by Denise Wright; and SMD 5C06, represented by Mary Lois Farmer-Allen (aka Mary Farmer). Only the latter, SMD 5C06, is contained almost entirely within Eckington – a tiny corner of NoMa is also included.
Community Emergency Management Plan: Cluster 21, Edgewood, Bloomingdale, Eckington from ANC 5C. The Ward 5 designated Emergency Shelters in Ward 5 aren’t nearby; however, this document appears to be rather dated.
Fifth District Roster, from MPD, includes names and contact info for 5D's Commander, Captains, and Lieutenants. (This info is not completely up-to-date.)
Fifth District Headquarters is located at 1805 Bladensburg Rd NE. From Eckington, the most direct route is to go east on New York Av, turn right on Montana Av, then left on Bladensburg Rd – where Montana and S Street begins. 5D Headquarters will be visible on the right, just after the parking lot. Limited on-street parking is also available.

Fifth District Map from MPD. All of Eckington is contained within PSA 501.
Ward 5 voting precinct map from DC Board Of Elections. Precinct boundaries look less gerrymandered than SMDs. Precinct 75 corresponds almost exactly with Eckington – plus the part of Truxton Circle that is east of North Capitol Street and north of New York Av. Our polling place is McKinley Technology High School.
